Questions about trips

Which trip should we pick?

With younger kids or a first trip, the half day is plenty. Most families pick the three-quarter day for more time offshore. Serious anglers or a special occasion usually go full day.

How many people can come?

Most private charter boats take up to 6 guests. Tell us your group size and we’ll check what fits.

Do we need a fishing license?

Guests on a licensed Florida charter boat are generally covered by the boat’s license. The captain will confirm when you book.

Can we keep the fish?

Yes, within Florida’s size and bag limits. The mate cleans legal fish for you at the dock. Sailfish are catch-and-release.

Should we tip?

Tipping the mate 15–20% of the trip price is common and appreciated. It’s not included in the trip price.
